1) What's up with Jimmy's show on late night show on ABC?

Jimmy Kimmel Live airs weeknights after midnight (12:05am) on ABC.  The show began on January 26, 2003 following the Super Bowl.

While there are jokes about it being cancelled, it has a strong following, and the future of the program is looking bright.

2) Where can I get tickets to the taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live?

Go to ABC's site and search for "Jimmy Kimmel."  There will be information on getting tickets to the show on that site.

3) Why are you running a fan site?  You're gay, huh?

Uh... no.  It started off as a KROQ site when I was learning html.  It was the first Internet site to have a picture and information on Jimmy Kimmel. It's a hobby I have, and add bits to the site when I feel like it. I'm not sexually obsessed with Jimmy--our love goes beyond sex... oh... if only he'd respond to those letters and locks of hair I send him!!!

4) How can I be on Jimmy Kimmel Live?

Do something weird on Hollywood Blvd. while they're taping.  They tape after 9:06PM Hollywood time.  Or better yet, send them a funny tape.  Rules for submitting your own tapes can be found on the ABC site.

5) What did Jimmy do before working on television?

He was fired from various radio stations, until he finally quit KROQ for television. Check out my Jimmy Kimmel biography.

6) What’s Jimmy doing with the NFL?

Jimmy did a pre-taped skit for the guys on the Fox Pre-Game show. For four seasons he picked game outcomes (often the best on TV) and made fun of the pre-game show hosts.  His last FOX show aired January 19th, 2003, although he did a Super Bowl pre-game show on MTV that aired January 20th, 2003.  I expect he'll do various NFL bits in the future.

7) How can I write to Jimmy?

Originally I had Jimmy's (now expired) KROQ email address posted on this site, but a lot of people still sent email intended for Jimmy to my address. PEOPLE ARE STUPID! They came up with stupid questions and comments. I received countless "show the juggies naked" messages. I vowed to save Jimmy from this ignorant onslaught by removing his address from my page.  I will not give out Jimmy's current email address, so don't bother asking.  However, if you'd like to write Jimmy a letter or request an autograph you can do so by sending it to Jimmy at the following address:
        Jimmy Kimmel
        c/o Jimmy Kimmel Live
        6834 Hollywood Blvd.
        Hollywood, CA  90028

8) How many licks does it take to get to the Tootsie-Roll center of a Tootsie-Pop?

The world may never know... because they may never visit the Tootsie Pop Scientific Studies site.

9) Do these shoes go with my outfit?

Asking questions like that makes your butt look fat.

10) Who the heck are you?

My name is Paul. Years and years ago I built an unofficial KROQ web page, since KROQ didn't have one of their own.   I included a bio page for several KROQ radio personalities, including Jimmy Kimmel (probably his first appearance online).  When Jimmy started on Win Ben Stein's Money I decided to check the web for fan pages, and found a couple tiny sites.  I figured I could share a lot more with the world so I built this page.

Computers have always been my hobby, so the Jimmy Kimmel site has been a place for me to mess around with my web skills. I've supplied the (now dead) "Official Ben Stein Fan Club" page with a lot of Ben Stein pictures.  I do a little web work on other sites as well.

Since building the site, a lot has happened to me. I moved across the country, relocated to Kentucky (moving from Los Angeles to Kentucky for a computer job is kind of odd, huh?), got married, bought a house, built an addition (having no previous carpentry skills), and got my wife pregnant.  The baby girl (Amber) was born healthy on May 21, 2003..

I can be reached at pennywise@hotmail.com, but I don't check that account much.  My name is "Paul" and I run "jimmykimmel.net," so you should be able to figure out my good email address.  If you can't, then I probably don't want to hear from you anyway.
